This plan involves three strategies: public education, enforcement of laws and regulations prohibiting the feeding of wildlife, and appropriately tiered responses to coyote and human interactions. The success of this plan requires active participation on the part of the entire community. The City of La Habra requests the community to complete the online form to report sighting and/or the actions of coyotes. The accuracy of the information you provide will help us to make educated decisions regarding sick, injured, or aggressive coyotes and allow us to determine the most appropriate public safety response according to the Management Plan. The banners, which were displayed for one year from the date of installation, include the service person's name and branch of service. In 2014, the Veterans Committee expanded the banner program to include veterans. The current cost of a banner is $224, and it is displayed for two years.
