Informational fair with FREE compost and tree seedlings to city residents. (*Must bring coupon from water bill and proof of residency to receive compost*)
Arbor Day: The City of La Habra has been a nationally recognized by TREE CITY USA for twenty four years. Trees are a very important resource to our City. The City’s tree trimming contractor, West Coast Arborists, has graciously donated tree seedlings to be given away to La Habra residents. Tree seedlings will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To commemorate Arbor Day, the City’s landscaping contractor, Complete Landscape Care, has graciously donated 10 “Pink Cloud” Cherry Trees which will be planted at Vista del Valle Park.
Earth Day: Earth Day is about everyday people taking environmental action in their own communities and working toward a cleaner, healthier environment. CR&R Environmental Services, the City’s refuse contractor, has graciously donated free compost. Bring the attached coupon to collect two (2) free bags per household while supplies last.
