Birthday Celebration

  • Price: $325 (Non-refundable $125 deposit)
  • Saturdays: 11am- 1p.m. & 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Birthday Bash Blowout

  • Price: $525 (Non-refundable $225 deposit)
  • Available: Saturdays & Sundays  
  • Package Includes:
    • 3 hours in the Museum
    • 40 Guests, ages 2 and up (Additional guests $12.00 per person)
    • Museum t-shirt for the birthday child and name sign on birthday throne
    • Table and chair party set up 
    • 10% discount in the Fascination Station Gift Shop
    • Downloadable party invitations (PDF)


A $50 refundable cleaning deposit is required for all birthday parties. The host is responsible for tape, scissors and other miscellaneous supplies and for set up/clean up of all party decorations.

All guests are required to sign a waiver and Release of Liability (PDF) form.


A nonrefundable deposit is due to reserve the birthday party date. Cash, checks and major credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Please make checks payable to The Children’s Museum at La Habra.

The balance on the birthday package is due at least 5 business days before reserved party date.


Party dates should be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. For inquiries and reservations call 562-383-4236.
Special accommodations can be requested and additional fees may apply. Museum Staff may terminate a birthday party if guests are unable to follow Museum guidelines and/or the party creates an unsafe environment for guests and visitors. The birthday host is responsible for all party guests.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made with less than 1 month’s notice will result in loss of entire deposit. Cancellations made with more than a month’s notice will result in a 50% loss of the deposit.

Covid-19 Protocols

All guests must abide by our Covid-19 protocols.
Out of an abundance of caution for you and our staff we’ve implemented some changes with the guidance of our state and local governments to make the Museum a safe and fun place for everyone. Please read these guidelines and tips carefully.

  • Every person entering the Museum must sign a liability waiver
  • Face masks are required for all visitors ages 5 and older
  • Everyone is expected to follow social distancing requirements.
  • You will notice new signs throughout the Museum encouraging 1 family-at-a-time areas and hand-washing reminders.
  • Limited capacity: We have capped the number of visitors allowed in the Museum to ensure plenty of space for all visitors to spread out. 
  • Enhanced cleaning: New cleaning protocols include frequent disinfecting of all high-touch surfaces before, during, and after your visit.
  • Access to cleaning supplies: An increased number of hand sanitizing dispensers and added Sanitation Stations for personal cleaning in the exhibit areas.
  • Staff and Volunteer health checks: All staff, volunteers, and contractors will have their temperature taken upon entry to the museum and will be required to wear a mask at all times.
